Kathleen O'Connor is Founder and CEO of CodeBlueNow!, a national grassroots education and advocacy group committed to positive change in the U.S. health care system so it works for the American public. Kathleen is a 30+ year veteran health care industry analyst and consumer advocate. She is the author: The Buck Stops Nowhere: Why America's Health Care is All Dollars and No Sense, and wrote a regular column on health care policy and politics for 4 years with the Seattle Times. Prior to founding CodeBlueNow! Kathleen founded and managed a national nonprofit women's health organization; served as a Medicare HMO Marketing Executive; worked at the University of Washington as an Administrator in positions with the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost and the Vice President for Health Sciences. She has also created and managed two successful statewide health care coalitions in Washington State.
