Linnea Larson, LCSW, RYT
Linnea Larson has worked in many areas of healthcare including both direct service work as a clinical social worker and family therapist in mental health clinics, psychiatric hospitals, hospice, a family practice residency program in which she created a behavioral science curriculum that included both allopathic and complementary and alternative medicine elements, and a medical school in which she did research in Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia. She served as a commissioner on the 2000-2002 White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy (WHCCAMP). She continues her interest in both direct service work and policy work in healthcare. She currently teaches meditation and yoga in Oak Park, Illinois.
